Taouil received his Master of Science and Doctoral degree from Delft University of Technology, Delft, the Netherlands, in 2009 and 2014, respectively. During his PhD, he focused on 3D testing. After that he expanded his research area by working on memory reliability and in-memory computing related topics. Currently, he is an associate professor and his research interest are hardware security and digital AI accelerators.
