Bio

Said Hamdioui is Chair Professor of Dependable and Emerging Computer Technologies at TU Delft and co-founder/CEO of Cognitive-IC, a startup focused on hardware test solutions. He leads the Computer Engineering Lab and previously headed the Quantum and Computer Engineering Department at TU Delft (2019–2023). His research focuses on emerging computing paradigms (e.g., in-memory and brain-inspired computing) and hardware test/ reliability and dependability in general.

Hamdioui has authored over 330 publications, holds several patents, and has collaborated with companies such as Intel, Philips, NXP, and STMicroelectronics.

He is a Fellow of the Netherlands Academy of Engineering (NAE) and has received numerous international awards, including the EDAA Outstanding Dissertation Award, HiPEAC Technology Transfer Awards, the European Commission Components and Systems Innovation Award (2020), and over 20 Best Paper Awards.
