Yuliya Degtyariova  is Associate Professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and International Students Training at Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. She completed her PhD studies in Foreign Landuage Teaching Methodologies and has been teaching English at the university level for over 20. She has been published extensively as author and co-author of over 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals.  Her many interests include teaching/learning English as a foreign language, content and project-based learning, academic writing, and distance learning, all of which require creative thinking.
