Professor Svitlana Amelina graduated from Dnipropetrovsk State University, Faculty of Philology, specializing in German Language and Literature and qualified as a philologist, teacher, and translator; studied at the Humboldt University (Berlin, Germany) and received a partial education diploma at this university; trained at universities in Germany and France. Candidate of Philological Sciences. Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences. She has 247 publications: monographs, scientific articles, textbooks. Professor Svitlana Amelina supervises postgraduate research. Every year she takes an active part in international scientific and practical conferences, seminars, pedagogical readings and reporting conferences.
