Vita Hamaniuk had studied German and Literature at Dnipropetrowsk State University, Ukraine in 1983-1988. She has obtained an MA Diploma in Philology at Dnipropetrowsk State University in 1988. She received a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences degree (PhD) from the Charkiv National Pedagogical Skovoroda University, Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, in 1995, a Doctor of Sciences degree from East-Ukrainian National Wolodymyr Dahl University, Lugansk, Ukraine, in 2013. In 2001 she received his habilitation as the Docent (Assoc. Prof.) at the Department of Foreign Languages of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University. In 2015 she received his habilitation as the Professor (Full Prof.) at the Department of German, Literature and Didactics of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University

From September 1995 until September 2001 Vita Hamaniuk worked as a head of Department of Foreign Languages at Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University. From September 2001 until now, she worked and is working at Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University at various positions: Associate Professor, Head of Department, Full Professor of Department of German, Literature and Didactics. From April 2017, she works as vice-rector for research at Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University.

Her research interests include foreign languages teaching and learning, didactics of multilingualism, e-learning, blended learning, comparative researches in Education. She has published a number of papers in Ukrainian and international journals, actively participates in international conferences and projects.

Since 2000 she took and is taking part as a researcher in many research projects (Goethe-Institute, FZ DiMOS (UR), had grants from Goethe-Institute (2000 (Munich), 2005 (Munich), 2010 (Berlin); HDZ Sachsen (2017); DAAD (some in Ukraine and Germany (Marburg, 2020).

Dr. Hamaniuk has published over 100 papers as journal articles, book chapters, refereed conference and workshop contributions.
