PRESENTATION FORMAT INFORMATION
There are two main types of presentation formats for ST&D 2022: Standard and Enhanced. Please read below for important information regarding these sessions.
ST&D 2022 FLIPGRID PAGE
Regardless of presentation format, all presentations are expected to create a 10-minute Flipgrid research recording. Please view the Flipgrid Instructions page for more details on creating a research presentation in Flipgrid.
STANDARD PRESENTATIONS: FLIPGRID
Standard presentations are only delivered asynchronously via 10-minute Flipgrid recording, and audience members are expected to leave video or textual feedback in Flipgrid.
- Standard presentations are organized into topic areas on the program on Friday, July 22, 2022: https://easychair.org/smart-program/STD2022/2022-07-22.html
- July 22 is simply a placeholder for standard presentations - there are no synchronous activities for standard presenations.
- Flipgrid recordings for all standard presentations should be posted on or before July 10, 2022.
ENHANCED PRESENTATIONS: FLIPGRID
Enhanced presentations have both an asynchronous 10-minute Flipgrid recording AND a live synchronous discussion session component that will occur on July 19 - 21, 2022.
- Enhanced presentations are organized into topic areas on the program on their relevant days and times: https://easychair.org/smart-program/STD2022/index.html
- Flipgrid recordings for all enhanced presentations should be posted on or before July 10, 2022.
- Audience members should review the Flipgrid recordings prior to the live discussion sessions.
- Audience members may also leave video or textual feedback in Flipgrid AND/OR communicate these to the presenter during the live zoom sessions.
- Symposia sessions are treated as Enhanced presentations.
ENHANCED PRESENTATIONS: LIVE ZOOM SESSIONS
Enhanced presentations have both an asynchronous 10-minute Flipgrid recording AND a live Zoom discussion session component that will occur on July 19 - 21, 2022.
- Enhanced presentations are organized into topic areas on the program on their relevant days and times: https://easychair.org/smart-program/STD2022/index.html
- Audience members should review the Flipgrid recordings prior to the live Zoom sessions.
- Zoom sessions (e.g., Enhanced I: Comprehending Textual Inconsistencies) will consist of:
- 3-5 minute summaries of the project from each author (15 - 20 minutes total)
- Discussion and Q&A moderated by a session chair (35-45 minutes total).
