Soyed earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from American International University Bangladesh, graduating Summa Cum Laude with the University Gold Medal in 2016. He completed his master’s in Communication Engineering at Technische Universität München, interning as a researcher at TUM, Robert Bosch Corporate Research, and Infineon Technologies AG. He then pursued his PhD in the CDNC group at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology under Prof. Tahoori, graduating summa cum laude with a thesis on scalable methods for uncertainty estimation and reduction in edge AI accelerators, which earned him two best paper awards and multiple nominations. Currently, he is a PostDoc and Group Lead "hardware aware ML" at Arizona State University with Prof. Krishnendu Chakrabarti, working on efficient GenAI, neuromorphic computing, resilient hardware accelerators, robust deep learning, and HW-SW co-optimization.
