Peter Garry Sarson became a Member (M) and Senior Member (SM) of the IEEE in 2016. Peter was born in Sheffield, United Kingdom in 1976. Peter earned his Bachelors of Engineering Honours Degree from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 1998 where he specialized in telecommunications and is currently pursuing his PH.D at Gunma University.

He has 17 years’ experience in the field of semiconductor test. He started his career as an Applications Engineer at Xcerra Corporation (formally LTX) in 2000. He now works for ams AG in Austria for the Full Service Foundry Division where he leads the Test Development Organization. He was previously Principal Engineer in the Corporate Test Development Team at ams AG.

Peter received his Chartered Manager status form the Chartered Management Institute in 2014.
