Alfio Samuele Mancuso was born in 1996 in Catania, Italy. He attained his master's degree in Chemical Sciences (Materials Chemistry and Nanotechnology curriculum) with final marks 110/110 cum laude at the University of Catania in September 2022, with an experimental thesis regarding “Synthesis by Chemical Vapor Deposition of BiFeO3 thin films and their characterization”. In November 2022 he started the Ph.D. course in Materials Science and Nanotechnology at the University of Catania. He is currently working at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Catania, and at CNR-IMM. The research activity of Alfio Samuele Mancuso is focused high power 4H-SiC devices for nuclear fusion application.
