Yaroslav Pasko is Professor of Philosophy, Faculty of History and Philosophy at Boris Grinchenko Kyiv University. Author of two monographs 'Social Welfare and Civil Society: Collaboration vs. Confrontation', 'Civil Society and National Idea: Europe and Ukraine' (in co-authorship), three collective monographs and about 100 research articles in peer-reviewed journals on the topics of civil society and post-colonialism. Reviewer and member of Editorial Board at Visnyk of Ivan Franko Lviv National University, Beytulhikme: A journal of Philosophy, Humanizacja Pracy (Lodz University). Academic interests include civil society, post-colonial problematics, identity and common Central European memory.
