My name is Oksana Chaplinska. I was born on December 17, 1979 in Kherson. I am a citizen of Ukraine.

In 1997 I finished Kashperivka Comprehensive Secondary School with a silver medal.

From 1997 to 2002 I studied Pedagogy and Methods of Secondary Education, the Ukrainian Language and Literature and Ethnology at the Faculty of Philology of Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University. I got а qualification of a teacher of the Ukrainian language and literature, foreign literature and Ukrainian studies.

In 2002 I continued studing "Pedagogy and Methods of Secondary Education. The Ukrainian Language and Literature” at the Faculty of Philology of Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University. I got a Master's degree in Pedagogical Education, a teacher of the Ukrainian language and literature.

In 2003 I entered the postgraduate school of the Department of Philosophy. In 2007 I defended PhD thesis on "Philosophy of the Ukrainian Neo-romanticism: The Parameters of the Understanding of a Person" in the specialty 09.00.05 - History of Philosophy.

In 2003 I was accepted as a lecturer at the Department of the Ukrainian Language. In 2004 I started working as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Philosophy. In 2010 I was transferred to the position of Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy.

From December 2007 to August 2018, I worked as Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Historical Faculty of Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University. Since September 2018 I have been working as the Head of the Department of Philosophy and Political Science.

I was awarded with diplomas of Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University (2011, 2019) and of the Department of Education and Science of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration (2016).

I am an author of 50 scientific publications published in domestic and foreign scientific journals, as well as collections of conference proceedings.
