Olena Chernyshova is a transportation and city planner with expensive experience in sustainable urban mobilty planning, public transport planning and financing, non-motorised transport planning and modeling, environmental analysis of transport projects and other transport-related planning. She has worked on transport strategies for Zhytomyr, Poltava, Kharkiv, Pavlodar (Kazakhstan) and other cities in Ukraine and beyond. Throughout her carieer Olena has participated, facilitated and developed a program for over dozen shourt-term professional training programs in transport planning. This experiecne was summarised in approach to plan for such program, which is presented at the conference and in the paper. Olena Chernyshova holds a PhD in Technical Science from Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University and Master's of City and Regional Planning from Clemson University, USA. She has completed scientific intership at Dresden Technical University.
