University studies in chemistry, physics and mathematics, at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, 1965-1970. Research work in geometry, algebra, and number theory since 1969.  Research work in mathematics education since 1981. New educational project in comparative geometry since 1982. Four patents on educational tools in Hungary and several other countries. First version of the Lénárt Sphere educational kit in Hungary 1986; improved and extended version  by a Californian company, in 1996. Invited lecturer at Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Natural Sciences, since 1990, at Faculty of Primary and Pre-School Education, since 1996. Recipient of the Beke Manó Memorial Award from the János Bolyai Mathematical Society, for lifework in mathematics education, in 2002; Varga Tamás Memorial Award, 2018.
