Ilona Batsurovska actively participates in research on various aspects of higher education in Ukraine. She successfully defended the thesis for the degree of Doctor of Pedagogy in the specialty 13.00.04 (015) "Theory and methods of vocational education" in 2019. Then she continues to work on the problems of application of distance learning technology in the system of engineering education. Under her guidance were defended the dissertations for the degree of candidate (2015) and doctors (2020, 2021) of pedagogical sciences. The researcher supervises the scientific work of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students. Creative achievement of Ilona Batsurovska has almost 200 publications. Areas of research: engineering education, distance education, mass open online courses, training of Masters, elements of learning management systems, higher education, electrical engineering education.
