The 2026 ACTER conference will take place November 10-11, 2026 in San Marcos, Texas on the campus of Texas State University.
Registration

Lodging
We have secured a block of rooms at the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Marcos. Book directly using the conference code using this link. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast and happy hour each evening. The hotel is about a 15 minute drive away from campus.
Travel to San Marcos
San Marcos is roughly equidistant between San Antonio and Austin. Both cities have major airports. Taxis and rideshare options are avaiable to San Marcos from both airports (~$75 each way) if you do not wish to rent a car. The city is located in the heart of Texas Hill Country. Daily high temperatures can be 70-80 F with overnight lows between 50-60F.
Traveling to Campus
All conference events will take place at the Lyndon B. Johnson Student Center on the campus of Texas State University. Some on-campus, visitor parking is available. The closest parking garage is the LBJ Student Center Garage and costs $14/day. Learn more about on-campus parking options.
