This special session provides a platform for academics, developers, and industry-related researchers belonging to the vast communities of Neural Networks, Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Biometrics, Vision Systems, and Robotics, to discuss, share experience and explore traditional and new areas of the computer vision and machine learning combined to solve a range of problems. The objective of the special session is to integrate the growing international community of researchers working on the application of Machine Learning in Vision and Robotics to a fruitful discussion on the evolution and the benefits of this technology to the society.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference:
- Kindly ensure that your paper is formatted as per Springer AISC Template (not exceeding 8 pages written in A4 size).
- Extra pages (beyond 8) are liable to extra page payment charges.
- All papers must be submitted online via easychair submission portal using the following link: https://easychair.org/cfp/ficta2017_cvip
- All submissions will be thoroughly peer-reviewed by experts based on originality, significance and clarity. Only papers presenting original content with novel research results or successful innovative applications will be considered for publication in the conference proceedings (as chapters in edited volumes of Springer AISC Series).
- The paper prior to submission should be checked for plagiarism from licensed plagiarism softwares’ like Turnitin/iAuthenticate etc. The similarity content should not exceed 20%.

Publication
FICTA 2017 - Special Session on CVIP proceedings will be published by Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing (AISC) series of Springer (Confirmed). Papers will be indexed in ISI Proceedings, DBLP, Ulrich's, EI-Compendex, SCOPUS, Zentralblatt Math, MetaPress. Indexing will be taken care by Springer.
In addition, good quality papers will be published in journals (will be informed later).
Venue
The conference will be held by KIIT University, Bhubaneswar; a world class university in the temple city of Odisha during October 14-15, 2017.
