Prof. Joohyun Park is a director of the Laboratory for High Temperature Physicochemical Processing of Materials (HiTeP2), Department of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, Hanyang University since 2013. He had been a professor of the Department of Advanced Materials Science and Engineering, University of Ulsan from 2008 to 2012, after finishing his work as a senior research scientist in the Technical Research Laboratories, POSCO from 2002 to 2008. His research covers the wide range of thermodynamics and kinetics of refractory-slag-metal reactions, structure-property relationship of metallurgical slags, inclusion engineering, sustainable steelmaking technologies, etc.
