I am an Assistant Professor (Soil and Water Conservation Engineering) at G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, India since 2006. I had completed B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering and M.Tech in (Soil and Water conservation engineering) from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. I completed my Ph.D. with a major in “Soil and Water Conservation Engineering” and a minor in “Environmental Science”. My thrust research areas are Watershed management and Planning, Water resource management, Application of remote sensing and GIS in natural resource management (Specifically water/soil erosion/LULC/Watershed based studies), Applied soft computing techniques like ANN, ANFIS, SVM, time-series application (Hydro-meteorological predictive modeling), Hydrological Modeling.
