Doctor of Science in Economics. Since 1976 he has been working at the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National University of Economics; 2001–2002 – Director of the Training Center of the first year of State higher educational establishment Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. 2003–2015 – Dean of the Faculty of Credit and Economics, Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. Currently, Mykhailo Dyba works as a professor at the Department of Corporate Finance and Controlling, Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman; holds the position of the director of the Institute of the Financial Business Development of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman; a member of the specialized scientific council D 26.006.04 with the right to accept PhD dissertations for consideration and defense in economic sciences in the specialty 08.00.08 –  money, finance, and credit.
