Basic education - mining engineer-geophysicist, in 1980 graduated the Ivano-Frankivsk Oil and Gas Institute. PhD – petroleum geology, Doctor of Sciences – geophysics. Professor. Since 2010 – a Head of the Petroleum Geology Department of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Expert of the State Commission of Ukraine on Mineral Resources (Oil and Gas Fields). Full member of the Ukrainian Oil and Gas Academy. Research interests: physical and geological models of rocks of different structure and genesis; complex geological interpretation of well-logging data; prospecting and exploration of unconventional deposits and sources of oil and gas; forecasting the activation of exogenous geological processes. Works: 160+ scientific and educational publications; 6 patents of inventions; 1 scientific discovery.
