Bio Oleksandra Yankovych was born on September 7, 1962 in Ternopil region. In 1985 graduated from Ternopil State Pedagogical Institute (now Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University), obtained a qualification of a teacher of chemistry and biology. In 1985–1988 worked as an assistant at the Departments of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry of Ternopil Ya. Halan State Pedagogical Institute; teacher of chemistry at schools No 16 and No 20 in Ternopil. From 1988 to 2005 – assistant, later associate professor of the Department of Pedagogy. From 2005 to 2013 – the Head of the Department of Pedagogical Skills and Educational Technologies of Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University. In 2009 she defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University on the topic: “The Development of Educational Technologies in the Theory and Practice of Higher Pedagogical Education of Ukraine (1957–2005)”. In 2011 she was awarded the academic title of Professor of the Department of Pedagogical Skills and Educational Technologies. From 2013 and until now – the Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education of Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University (since 2014 – the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary and Preschool Education). From 2014 and until now – Doctor habilitated, Professor of Kuyavian-Pomeranian Higher School (Bydgoszcz, Poland). |
