Iryna Sevruk graduated with honors from the Faculty of Philosophy of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University in 1989. In 1994, Ms. Sevruk got the degree of Candidate of Philosophical Sciences in the Specialized Academic Council of Kharkiv State University named after V.N. Karazin. In 1999, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.

The main directions of scientific activity are related to research in philosophical anthropology, social philosophy, and philosophy of education.

Iryna Sevruk has more than 90 scientific works, including a course book, a monograph, 5 manuals, and more than 45 scientific articles published in professional scientific journals of Ukraine and abroad.
