André Sacilotto Santos is a Master’s R&D Fellow at the Dell Innovation Center (Dell/PUCRS partnership) and a Master’s candidate in Computer Science (Parallel and Distributed Systems) at PPGCC, PUCRS, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, advised by Prof. César A. F. De Rose. His research focuses on cross-application interference profiling on Linux, in particular the IntP profiler and its instrumentation backends (SystemTap, procfs/resctrl/perf, and eBPF CO-RE). He also works on automated and reproducible benchmarking of databases on bare metal, virtual machines, and Kubernetes. He is interested in how interference metrics can inform ML-driven scheduling decisions in consolidated environments.
