Vamshi Kodipaka received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Vision and Robotics at the University of Bourgogne, France in September 2020. His dissertation focused on Vision-based Multi-robot Target Tracking with Aerial and Ground Robots  . He worked as a research fellow within the SEMFIRE project until June 2022, on the development of artificial perception mechanisms to support forestry ground robotic operations for land maintenance and clearing tasks.  In September 2022, he started his PhD on “Navigation Systems for Search and Rescue Operations with Drones” with an FCT Scholarship.
