Dr. Tim Loblaw, Calgary, Canada, brings expertise in technical and vocational education and training (TVET), competency-based education and training (CBET) and educational development, which includes 20+ years' experience in facilitation, instructional strategies and curriculum design. Tim currently leads the Teaching & Learning Enhancement team at Bow Valley College, which is responsible for supporting an evidenced-informed approach to shaping the future of college education and transforming teaching-and-learning in applied education.

In addition to his professional role in the Canadian college sector, Tim is president of the board of directors for the Canadian Vocational Association/Association canadienne de la formation professionnelle. Tim’s research interest are in vocational pedagogies, TVET professionalisation, and the political economy of skills development.
