Bio Amal Rogers is a somatic educator and facilitator. Her work integrates somatic practice, critical pedagogy, and relational awareness to explore how embodied intelligence can reshape learning, teaching, and ways of knowing. She develops experiential embodied methodologies that support awareness, presence, and agency, grounded in the body as a site of intelligence, memory, and transformation. She holds an MA in Dance and brings training and experience in somatics, Theatre of the Oppressed, restorative justice, birth justice doula work, bodywork, and community organizing, alongside extensive teaching in diverse classrooms, community spaces, and online. Alongside her facilitation, she offers 1:1 embodiment sessions, an online collection of embodied practices for self-directed learning, and workshops and trainings for educators and institutions integrating somatic and embodied approaches into their pedagogy and practice. |
