DEMAND2016: WHAT ENERGY IS FOR: THE MAKING AND DYNAMICS OF DEMAND
Photo competition information

As part of the conference we are holding a photographic competition. The entries will be displayed during the conference and everyone is welcome to participate. Photographs must be related to the theme of one of the workshops, but not necessarily the ones you are involved with. We do not expect professional photographs, but photographs with thought!  The following is a list of workshops:

Time, temporality and energy demand
Professions and energy demand
Conceptualising change in energy demand
Steering demand
Sharing and energy demand
Energy and money
The role of standards and standardisation in making demand
Conceptualising futures of energy demand
Space, site and scale in the making of energy demand
Automating everyday life
Entitlement, expectation and excess in energy demand
Non-permanent infrastructures and energy demand
Cross-national and cross-cultural research on energy demand


Please email all entries to v.waddington@Lancaster.ac.uk by April 7th with the subject title ‘DEMAND2016 photo competition/ <workshop title >’ and include the workshop your photograph relates to.

The winner will be judged by a small panel of amateur experts, announced at the evening reception on the 14th April,  and a fantastic prize presented!
