Bradley Walkenhorst, PhD is the Director of Education Programs and Assistant Professor of Special Education at MacMurray College. Brad has over 20 years experience in Special Education. His experience as a foster parent, paraprofessional, director of youth arts program, and Special Educator in both in general education setting as well as separate day school programs brings a wealth of knowledge and stories to his classrooms. Brad Walkenhorst has served as a peer reviewer for AERA, WERA, TED-CEC and the Curriculum and Pedagogy Group. Brad has presented his research and work both nationally and internationally. Brad publications focus on working with troubled youth and youth with exceptionalities.
