LPAR-26: Editor's Preface

This volume contains the papers presented at LPAR 2026: the 26th Conference on Logic for Programming, Artificial Intelligence and Reasoning, held October 25-30, 2026 on Spetses, Greece. The series of International Conferences on Logic for Programming, Artificial Intelligence and Reasoning (LPAR) is a forum where, year after year, some of the most renowned researchers in the areas of logic, automated reasoning, computational logic, programming languages and their applications come to present cutting-edge results, to discuss advances in these fields, and to exchange ideas.

The LPAR-26 program featured four invited talks given by Nate Foster (EPFL), Marieke Huisman (University of Twente), Nina Narodytska (VMWare Research by Broadcom), and Cesare Tinelli (University of Iowa). We warmly thank them all for their participation and contributions.

We thank Geoff Sutcliffe for his help in organizing the conference. We also thank EasyChair for providing an amazing tool for submitting papers, collecting reviews, and producing the LPAR-26 proceedings as an EPiC volume. Special thanks to Lydia Kondylidou for suggesting Spetses Island, finding the AKSS venue, making arrangements with her local contacts, getting her parents to help when needed, and speaking Greek whenever necessary.

LPAR-26 was sponsored by Jane Street and EasyChair.
