Abstract

In this study we will use centrifugal pump impeller. FEA simulation technique will be used to compare strength of impeller with different materials like Aluminium, SS316, and composite fibres. CAD modelling will be done in solidwork, For Meshing and post processing FEA simulation module of solidwork/Ansys will be used. This analysis will give data of strength and weight of impeller with different materials. change in strength and weight due to different materials will be compared And suitable material can be proposed for fabrication.
