It addresses key challenges in the methodologies of just transition policy evaluation, which stem from the need to integrate social sub-systems into a differentiated theory of justice and the inadequacy of the mainstream individual-ethics approach to address climate change. By presenting a case study of Lithuania’s just transition policy evaluation, the paper demonstrates how integral ecology can bridge significant evaluation methodology gaps and advance innovative methodologies and transdisciplinary approaches. Keyphrases: integral ecology, just transition, transdisciplinary methodology, transformational evaluation
