EasyChair Preprint 12131

15 pagesDate: February 15, 2024

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) has expanded the Internet to include smart objects, enabling the effective collection and sharing of information. Interoperability challenges arising from the diversity of devices and interaction methods are addressed by interoperability testing. This article presents a testing guide for IoT applications, built through a literature review identifying relevant technical approaches and standards, such as ISOs. Validation of the guide involved a structural evaluation using the TAM model and a controlled experiment in an IoT application, highlighting the effectiveness of the guide in planning and executing interoperability tests.

Keyphrases: Diretrizes, Internet das Coisas, Teste de interoperabilidade
