EasyChair Preprint 3988

7 pagesDate: August 2, 2020

Abstract

With the recent spread of Covid-19, teleworking has become a business standard for enterprises. While teleworking is a relatively safe way to work when infectious diseases such as corona spread as well as shorter commuting hours, various cybersecurity threats are occurring depending on the environment, such as the transmission of data using information and communication technology and access to internal systems. Therefore, information security is a keyword that an entity must consider in implementing remote work, and measures are needed to protect its assets from cyber threats in various remote work environments. However, from the perspective of corporate security officers, it is difficult to select the most suitable security solution for the working environment by examining various scattered solutions one by one. Therefore, this study aims to provide the convenience of choosing a security solution to assist corporate security personnel and establish a secure remote working environment. To achieve the goal, we investigate security threats according to the characteristics of telework, compare and analyze various remote security solutions to mitigate security threats, and propose a security architecture optimized for the characteristics of telework.
