With rising concerns over public safety and security, communities are increasingly turning to technological solutions like CCTV cameras to address crime-related challenges. The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the expectations of the respondents on the CCTV installation for promoting public order and safety in high-risk area. The research methodology involves a quantitative method. Quantitative research gathers a range of numeric data with community residents’ and Barangay officials of 3 selected puroks in barangay Quirino, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. This comprehensive approach allows for a holistic assessment in the expectations of the respondents on the CCTV installation. Preliminary findings suggest that the presence of CCTV cameras has led to a reduction in reported crimes within the high-risk areas of Barangay Quirino. Moreover, residents express an increased sense of safety and security, which may be attributed to the surveillance system.
