Winter Text & Discourse
2025 Annual Meeting
February 3rd-5th, 2025
Boulder, Colorado
Call for Proposals
Winter Text & Discourse is proud to announce its 2025 annual meeting to be held February 3rd-5th, 2025 at the Hotel Boulderado in Boulder, Colorado. We invite the submission of abstracts for individual papers and posters to present original research on text and discourse processing, representation, and analysis. The conference is particularly focused on building a shared community of researchers while also providing a forum for younger researchers to find mentorship and networking opportunities. To provide opportunities to engage in deep discussions with text and discourse scholars, Winter Text & Discourse will have a later start time (4 pm) to allow networking events outside of the conference, including outdoor activities. The conference will include presentation sessions but will focus on poster sessions that allow for increased interactions among participants.
Winter Text & Discourse is part of the Society for Text & Discourse, an international society of researchers who investigate all aspects of text and discourse. The purpose of the Society is to foster and promote excellence in research, enhance communication among researchers in different disciplines, and contribute to the education and professional development of those in the field or entering the field. For researchers who are new to the Society, the range of topics that are generally presented at the conference can found in past programs and below under the list of topics.
