Theme: Building a Trusted AI Agent Economy with Blockchain

1. Introduction
Following ICOW3 2025, which explored real-world applications of Agentic AI for Web 3.0, ICOW3 2026 advances this international forum with a focus on blockchain and trustworthy agentic AI. Under the theme “Building a Trusted AI Agent Economy with Blockchain,” the conference examines how blockchain infrastructure and accountable agent behavior can support autonomous transactions, collaboration, and value exchange. The emphasis is on technical foundations that enable AI agents to operate reliably within verifiable permissions and clearly defined responsibilities.
Building a trusted AI agent economy requires mechanisms for authenticating agent identities, enforcing delegated authority, and verifying transaction outcomes while protecting data and digital assets. ICOW3 2026 addresses decentralized identity, digital wallets, smart contract-based transactions and settlement, data marketplaces, and token incentives. Particular attention is given to architectures connecting off-chain agent reasoning and tool invocation with on-chain authorization, contract execution, and auditable records. The conference also explores data sovereignty, governance, security, and privacy, including threat modeling and detection based on adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). These topics support the evaluation of agent behavior and the design of safeguards against unauthorized actions and malicious interactions.
ICOW3 2026 brings together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry worldwide to share research findings and implementation experience in blockchain and trustworthy agentic AI for Web 3.0. We invite papers on theoretical foundations, system design, experimental evaluation, and industrial applications that advance interoperability, scalability, security, and accountability in the AI agent economy. Accepted papers will be presented in SESSION 3 and SESSION 4.

Full Paper: 8–10 pages for academic papers
