Call for book Chapters (Springer Book)
Advanced Technologies for Solar Photovoltaics Energy SystemsEditors:
Prof. Saad Motahhir, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, ENSA, Fez, Morocco.
Prof. Ali M. Eltamaly, Mansoura University, Electrical Engineering Department, Mansoura, Egypt.
Summary
Solar energy became one of the fasted growing technologies in the field of electric energy generation. Generating Electric power from photovoltaic energy system became mature technology and its cost combats the cost of generating electric energy from conventional energy sources. This book focuses on the latest research and developments in photovoltaic energy from Semiconductor to the system integration. It aims to provide extensive coverage of fundamental theories, current research and developmental activities, and new approaches intended to overcome a number of critical limitations from the material constriction of photovoltaic panel to the use of PV energy through grid connected or standalone system. This using control and optimization techniques in the broadest sense, covering the use of new advanced technologies as embedded system, Internet of Thing and blockchain technologies for PV systems through different applications such as MPPT controller, solar tracker, cleaning system, cooling system, monitoring system. Moreover, the applications of photovoltaic energy system in distributed generation, microgrid, and smart grid systems will be covered in this book. The main goal of this book is to encourage both researchers and practitioners to share and exchange their recent advanced studies related to PV systems.
The book will be published in the book series Green Energy and Technology. **Indexed in Scopus**.
