X-ray diffraction (XRD) revealed phase stability in chromium and molybdenum, while cobalt transformed from HCP to FCC. Increased peak intensity and sharpness indicated improved crystallinity. Optical microscopy showed enhanced grain homogeneity, intergranular bonding, and reduced porosity, with sample (C) exhibiting the best microstructure. Vickers hardness increased after sintering in all samples, reaching its highest value in sample (C), attributed to its finer grains and improved density. However, sample (B) demonstrated the lowest wear rate, indicating superior wear resistance. These findings highlight the importance of sintering and compositional optimization in tailoring alloy properties. Sample (C) exhibited superior hardness and microstructure, whereas sample (B) provided the best wear resistance.
