Piled raft foundations are a hybrid type between piled and raft foundations that are popular types for most buildings. Currently, in different ways, the ratio between load bearing capacity of pile and raft elements, has been calculated to propose a suitable design solution. Although it is solved in different ways, this is a constant ratio for a given building. The stiffness of the pile system is considerable compared to soil, therefore the averages of the load-bearing capacity of the soil (through raft) are only a small part about 10-30% of the total building load. This is rather squandering, so depending on the geology that the building is built on, it can be designed that the raft takes the initiative loaded bearing much more. In this paper, the author presents a method to solve the above problem. Base on that, an example is calculated.
