Abstract:
The following paper propounds the framework and steps followed to create a game for children in Middle school using Immersive virtual reality (IVR) technologies to practice and improve two high demand skills in 21 century, Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We start by modeling some three-dimensional objects that represent the world we created such as platforms, River, Boat, Wolf, Sheep, Cabbage, Framer and every element related to the environment. Our progress uses the Unity game engine to launch the interactive game for IVR environments to reinforce students’ soft skills, several challenges faced while creating IVR scenes, Solutions are proposed where possible. The overall build of this IVR world is described with some models added to the game engine for a better experience
