Abstract:
New technologies are becoming an integral part of life, particularly in education, which plays a key role in personal development. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into various fields, including higher education, contributes to improving the organization of the learning process. Research has shown the positive impact of AI on students' education in universities, especially in programming, which has become a fundamental skill for many professions. Traditional teaching methods in programming often do not meet the demands of modern technological advancements, making the integration of AI highly relevant. It enhances students' competitiveness in the job market, makes the learning process more engaging and effective. AI helps educators design learning tasks by offering over 30 options that can be used in education. A survey of 1st to 4th-year students revealed that the majority are aware of AI and actively use it in their studies. First-year students were the most active users, as they are open to new technologies. Senior students are more cautious in their use of AI, citing the imperfection of current models. AI allows for the adaptation of learning materials to the individual needs of students, but it also requires the development of new assessment methods and a personalized approach, which can be challenging to implement.
