The general objective of this article is to present a report of field experience through the analysis of technical and operational data of an on-grid solar energy microgeneration unit with 6 kWp installed power, approved and in operation since 11/10/2022. The objective of this field report is to specifically contribute to good installation practices in all phases: design, installation, commissioning and operational dispatch. The technical analysis and operations carried out in the field unequivocally demonstrate that the design decisions and calculations (loss estimates, sizing of the inverter and photovoltaic arrays, etc.) and the correct application of current technical standards were made assertively. Consequently, the microgeneration unit presents excellent operational performance and return on investment in its first half of operation.
