This paper examines and defines the topic of space cybersecurity as a niche and critical area of cybersecurity as expressed through the prominent voices in the field. The current research on this topic is categorized into domains of space cybersecurity using the ISC2 defined cybersecurity domains as a template and adding geopolitics as a ninth domain. The prominent voices, major individual and organizational contributors, are presented. Finally, it encapsulates the needs of space cybersecurity and gaps in the research as expressed in the body of literature.
