Abstract:
Introduction: A discourse analysis is a methodological possibility for the development of historical, ideological and cultural matrices of the effects of the meaning of texts. Objective: To register an experience on the use of discourse analysis in the French (Pecheutian) current in the study of nursing with adolescents. Method: Experience report, on a qualitative study, carried out with adolescents who live with special health needs. Discourse analysis in the French current is used for analysis of semi-structured interviews, performed in double transcription, as analytical tools that give movement to the text and application of figures of speech. Results: Discourse analysis is an analysis strategy that presents the analytical possibilities in moments of silence, in the presence of emotions, of the new knowledge that appears in the participants' speeches. Culture, as social matrices, or the moment when statements are verbalized has shown some variation in this analysis, in which the discourse is seen in depth and is not evaluated by its content. Conclusions: The analysis of the Pecheutian discourse is a favorable method of analysis to look deeply into the themes, in adolescent health, which assesses the dimensions, such as the experiences of each participant and that cannot be quantified.
