Varieties Across -Two Locations in Northern Iraq Conference:TMREES26Lb Tags:Bread wheat, ethephon, micronutrients and yield and quality Abstract: This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of foliar application of micronutrients and ethephon on the yield and quality of bread wheat varieties under two environmental conditions in northern Iraq. Field experiments were carried out during growing season (2024-2025) at Gerdarasha and Makhmur station, (RCBD) was using in a split-plot system with three replications. Three varieties (Hawler 4, IBA 99, Jehan) were assigned to main plots, while nine combinations of micronutrients and ethephon were allocated to sub-plots. The results revealed IBA 99 and Hawler 4 exhibited superior in Gerdarasha, whereas Jehan showed better adaptation to Makhmur conditions. spray micronutrients and ethephon improved grain yield, No. of tillers, spikes, kernel weight, protein, gluten, carbohydrate and proline, compared with control. The combined treatment M1E1 produced the highest values for yield, while M2E2 and E2 were particularly effective in quality. Using micronutrients and ethephon sustainably enhance wheat productivity under diverse environmental conditions.
