This paper explores seat allocation and revenue management strategies in the airline industry. Its primary objective is to examine the impact of different reservation systems on total revenue of full-service airline by developing a simulation model of the reservation process for a non-stop flight. The analysis revealed that the non-nested model achieves better cabin occupancy, while the nested model generates higher revenue.
