![]() Title:Effect of Al and Sn Doping on the Structural and Morphological Properties of Nanostructured CdO Thin Films Prepared Using Chemical Spray Pyrolysis Conference:TMREES26Lb Tags:Aluminum, Cadmium Oxide, Chemical Spray Pyrolysis, Structural Properties and Tin Abstract: This study involved the preparation and evaluation of the structural, and morphological of pure and aluminum (Al)- and tin (Sn)-doped cadmium oxide (CdO) thin films, as well as (Al-Sn) co-doped films, prepared by the chemical spray pyrolysis method at a constant substrate temperature of 380 °C. Physical analysis demonstrated that the incorporation of impurities induced radical modifications in the crystalline structure of the system; the Al-doped CdO films retained the cubic crystal structure, accompanied by a contraction in crystallite size and an increase in dislocation density due to the ionic radii mismatch. Meanwhile, raising the Sn concentration (40%) and performing co-doping led to exceeding the solid solubility limit, resulting in the formation of advanced secondary orthorhombic phases such as Cd2SnO4 and Al2CdO4.
