Abstract:
Mobile wallet has become an alternative method of making payments to purchase goods and services in the recent years. This study investigates the effects of antecedents of continues intention to use mobile wallet, by adapting the Personality Traits theory. The partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS SEM) technique is used to evaluate the research model with a sample size of 290. Findings reveal that the three most personality traits that has strong connection to the attitude are agreeableness, extroversion, and openness to experience. Additionally, attitude has a positive impact on the continues intention to use mobile wallet in Malaysia. The results of this study hope to benefit relevant individuals and stakeholders in many ways. Corporate industries and managers within this field would be able to understand consumer attitude toward mobile wallet adoption.
