Abstract:
The article is devoted to the actual problem of using modern means of information and communication technologies to increase the level of efficiency of the educational process. The current state and actuality of using augmented and virtual reality technologies as an expedient means of improving the educational process is considered. In particular, attention is paid to the potential of the combined capabilities of augmented and virtual reality technology with the capabilities of adaptive learning systems. Considering the potential of outlined technologies in modern foreign and domestic studies, insufficient elaboration of the possibilities of cross-use in order to increase the efficiency of the educational process has been revealed. Based on the determined effectiveness of augmented and virtual reality technologies and the concept of adaptive learning systems efficiency, the result of conceptual technology design based on the combined capabilities is proposed. A graphical representation of the conceptual model and its description are presented. The use of virtual and augmented reality technologies as a special information environment, which is applied in accordance with the revealed dominant type of thinking of students, is substantiated. Prospects of application of the offered model during educational processes in educational establishments for introduction and support of new strategies of teaching and teaching and improvement of learning results on the example of such disciplines in computer sciences as "Algorithms and data systems", "Computer graphics and three-dimensional modeling", "Schematic Engineering", "Computer Architecture" etc
