In response to this issue, BlueLink is a proposal that integrates remote sensing, geospatial technologies, and in situ measurements to provide a more comprehensive view of environmental conditions. The system combines a monitoring buoy, a ground station, and a web platform. The buoy collects water quality variables, while the ground station receives and stores the data for visualization. These measurements are complemented by information obtained through remote sensing, allowing observations with broad spatial coverage to be related to detailed local measurements. The platform facilitates the monitoring of different locations, access to historical records, and the generation of alerts in response to environmental changes. In addition, BlueLink seeks to contribute to reducing the technological and economic gaps in environmental monitoring for mariculture through an accessible solution that facilitates water quality monitoring and decision-making.
